孩子說話結巴，家長不應處罰

台灣約有20萬人口吃，安德復復健專科診所表示，造成口吃的原因未知，除了先天遺傳、基因變異等因素，環境互動也是重要的促進因子。

當家長發現孩子說話出現結巴現象時，不需要刻意矯正，也不必要求孩子再說一遍，更不建議要小孩慢慢說或露出不悅的表情，更不可因此處罰孩子。因為這些不適當的作法，易讓孩子覺得「應該要控制口吃」、害怕說話，反而可能變成更嚴重的口吃。
