黃金現貨價格近一周（7/11-18）小幅下跌0.15%，18日收盤價1284.24美元。元大寶來黃金期信基金經理人方立寬表示，金價盤勢持續受油價上漲帶動，西德州原油期貨持續站穩100美元，收盤價已超越前周107美元高點，收於108.04美元，且再創今年新高，黃金浮現通膨避險價值，他認為，目前中期金價技術面關卡處於1350美元，價位可望緩步逼近。
方立寬說，FED主席在演說與聽證會中，都表示QE縮手並不代表升息，也不代表緊縮，同時也沒有時間表，且就算QE縮手，低利政策仍將維持一段時間，金市受此激勵而出現支撐，維持穩定狀況。
方立寬表示，觀察美國黃金期貨的散戶籌碼狀況，發現散戶多單比例已自最高占整體期貨留倉比例約22%，下降到12%，接近回歸常態水位10%，顯示再急跌的可能性大幅降低；同時金價逐步走入旺季，且金價今年劇跌而回到2010年6月的價位，提供民間低價買進的利基，可望吸引較強的買盤投入。
方立寬認為，受惠於經濟回溫，油價漲不停，通膨避險概念可望捲土重來，進場布局黃金，有利黃金緩步脫離低檔而回漲。值得留意的重點是，瞻前仍需顧後，黃金長線偏空環境並無大幅逆轉，也就是金融穩定，長線通膨溫和，及資金依舊流出金市情形尚未顯著改變，黃金並不會大漲。
方立寬研判，金價止跌反彈機會大增，但預期1400美元以上站穩的可能性較小，建議投資人應妥慎安排進場額度，並在順利抓住反彈走勢後，獲利入袋為宜。
