美國海洛因毒品氾濫 上癮者更年輕

2006年奧斯卡金像獎影帝菲利浦西摩霍夫曼 (Phillip Seymour Hoffman)2日因注射海洛因毒品過量猝死，成為吸毒過量賠上寶貴生命的最新冤魂。勒戒專家3日說，海洛因上癮者人數激增，而且年齡愈來愈輕，有氾濫成災之虞。

海洛因毒品為害世人已久，但令美國當局、衛生官員和父母特別不安的是，使用海洛因的美國人激增。聯邦緝毒署紐約辦事處官員韓特說，東北部已受海洛因重創，上癮者、吸毒過量者激增，令人感到恐懼。有關機構的調查顯示，2012年，年齡12歲以上者多達66萬9000人使用過海洛因，其中約15萬5000人是「初犯」，自認無法擺脫海洛因者約46萬7000人，比2002年增加一倍多。
