「基因雷達」　1小時測愛滋

【張渝萍／綜合外電報導】美國《新聞周刊》8日報導，美國麻州Nanobiosym公司研發出iPad大小的「基因雷達」（Gene-RADAR），只要1滴血或唾液，1小時內就能檢測出是否患有愛滋病（AIDS）或肺結核等致命疾病，快速又準確，對缺乏醫療照護的民眾來說是一大福音。

Nanobiosym公司解釋，基因密碼中的某幾段可揭露是否有罹病，機器以電腦晶片，掃描體液中的基因密碼來診斷。機器發明者戈爾博士說，基因雷達只是一部裝置，重點是以App來檢測愛滋病，上月已研發可檢測大腸桿菌的App。她表示，機器操作簡單，不用受過專業訓練就可以輕鬆操作，現已準備到非洲做測試。
